it’s all in progress

I’ve been doodling a little, but I’m trying to finish a few more drawings before I load them up here. After talking to Mathew Borrett, I’ve decided it would be a good exercise to sit and finish more drawings with textures and details, so there’s a (not entirely accurate) drawing of a bear happening in my sketchbook right now, but I’m not done the background so I’m not sharing just yet.

In tandem with rethinking my process, I’m considering renting a shared studio space. Several of my friends are doing similar things and recommend it, and the artists I’ve visited in their studios seemed to have fantastic set-ups and positive feelings about it all. Perhaps it really is time to seperate leisure and art, eh? I suppose we’ll see how well it works.
