Home Work
Working an uncreative nine-to-five has slowly but surely pushed me to want – very badly – to make art in the evenings. Unfortunately once the evenings come I often want – very badly – to do nothing at all, and thus the state of my room – where I would make the art should I make any in the evenings – is really completely out of control.
My first priority is to organize, clean and clear space to work in, and while I do that I find myself coming up with more and more ideas of things to do,, which make coming home simply to clean a really frustrating experience.
Are there secrets to setting up a workspace at home? To maintaining it? Right now my room has about eight different uses at any one time, and I’m finding it very hard to combine them. Is it worth investing in more storage options or will I find myself better off with just paring down my belongings and dedicating myself to keeping things minimal?

Perhaps setting up your workroom in zones might work for your different crafts…like they do in Kindergarten. I have my craftroom divided into sections/areas–sewing, bow making, gift wrapping, painting, office, etc.
Hop on over to my blog…I’ve written several posts on organizing your sewing/craft space. Hopefully it will help you to organize your space so it inspiring!
Have a great day!
With friendship,
